He is 4 months. 4 MONTHS!

This last month has been very busy in our household. Jasper, you are still our most favorite thing ever. Mama went back to work and it was really hard for her at first. But then she saw how Daddy takes such good care of you and it makes her feel better. Here is a little about you at 4 months:

You are 14.4 lbs and 24.75 inches of perfectly healthy loveliness.
"hi camera, i used to u"

You sleep in your crib, although not in very long stretches :-)

You take very short naps.
You like sleeping on your side.

"zzzz...i wuv mommy and daddy's bed...zzzz"

You have some serious toe & finger jam.

You are on an eating schedule.
You have a dairy allergy (no ice cream for mom).

You put your hands on the bottle when you are fed, then push it away when you are done.

"dis is good stuff"

You grab our fingers and put them in your mouth.

"mmm...tastes wike chicken"

You like how I trace my finger on your forehead when you are sleepy.
You grab my fingers and hold on for dear life when you are sleepy.

You have very long eyelashes.

"jealous ladies?"

You LOVE looking at yourself in the mirror.
This occupies the majority of your time on the activity mat.

"who is dat good lookin' dude?"

You suffered through your first cold.
You have found your voice and like using it as much as possible.
You like pulling blankets over your face.

You look REALLY adorable in hats.

"i workin dis hat"

You love going for walks with Daddy in the Baby Bjorn.

"git dis show on da road daddy!"

When you see the pacifier coming towards your mouth, you either open up or push it away.
You no longer need the headrest in your carseat.

You grasp at your toys

"come here fluffy cow, you mine"

You have the cutest sad face :-(

"waaaa i sad about my gassy tummy"

You have seen Christa, but don't really notice her.

You will look at books that we read to you.
You like to stand and can do that for a pretty long time.

You like watching the World Cup soccer.

"whaz up wit dat ref? he wrong."

You are starting to giggle. We spend A LOT of time trying to get you to giggle.

Sometimes you get so excited you skip laughing and go right to coughing.

You smile almost every time someone smiles at you, even strangers.

"haha, i not sleepin in my crib, hehe"

Oh goodness, how do we explain how super totally funtastic you are? We look forward to each and every day we have together as a family*. Thank you for bringing such love and joy into our lives. Love your Mama & Daddy
