We made it!

It seems like we've been waiting anxiously for months and it's finally here! We left a rainy Chicago...and arrived to sunny skies, warm weather and friendly faces!Overall our trip was uneventful. Both of us were stopped at the dreaded red light/green light customs checkpoint - they went through all of our bags & carry-on's (yes wedding dress too!), but it was actually a very pleasant & friendly experience. They confiscated our 2 oranges and that's it! We made our way to the Villa Bonita de Isla - and folks, this place is amazing. Once we settled in we grabbed some food at a nearby restaurant. Check out that view!Now I'm writing this from our Penthouse suite balcony overlooking the Bay of Mujeres. A little rain storm is drenching Cancun, but it's nice and dry on Isla. The sun is set and we are ready for our wedding week bonanza to begin!
