Where to Stay

We are happy to provide recommendations on where to stay based on your preferences. The reception is located in Sac Bajo, towards the southern end of the island (about a $5 USD taxi ride from the downtown and major hotel zone). Everything on the island is accessible via golf cart or taxi.

There are many hotel options on Isla Mujeres that will fit all budgets and have a wide-range of amenities. There is no "official" hotel for our wedding as our guests' needs vary but we have made recommendations through Kathryn's travel site (http://kathrynstravel.com/noellenandjackson).

Additionally, there are condos & private homes available for rent. Check out this site for ideas, pictures and pricing info: http://www.lostoasis.net/

Casa Bonita de Isla is a great option for families or groups of friends...the large palapa and spacious grounds lend themself to a celebratory gathering, and the adjacent upscale Villa Bonita de Isla (owned by the same family)provides additional housing, from the luxurious four bedroom, four bathroom penthouse, to the two and three bedroom condos and Jr Suites. All of the condos have private baths attached to the bedrooms, and include full kitchens and living rooms. Both properties combined can sleep upwards of 50 people. For more pictures, amenities and pricing check out these links...

** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING A CONDO or THE CASA, PLEASE EMAIL kathryn@kathrynstravel.com ASAP AS SHE IS HELPING TO COORDINATE THESE RESERVATIONS WITH THE PROPERTY OWNERS. MANY THANKS! **

You are welcome to stay anywhere you'd like on Isla Mujeres or even in Cancun.
Staying in Cancun...
If you'd like to stay at an all-inclusive resort or in a major hotel chain, Cancun is the right place for you. There are too many options to list. Kathryn is available to help you with any Cancun hotel options if you like - http://kathrynstravel.com/noellenandjackson. Please know that if you'd like to stay in Cancun that it is easy to catch a ferry from Puerto Juarez to Isla Mujeres, and then to take a taxi to the wedding location. We recommend catching the ferry that departs at least 2 hours before the wedding ceremoney is set to begin due to possible ferry and or taxi waits and/or delays. We highly recommed anyone staying in Cancun to get a room on the island for the nights of both the cocktail party (Thursday, March 26th) and the wedding (Friday, March 27th). Time can easily "get away" on the island at night, especially when you are having fun, and you do not want to risk missing the last ferry back to the mainland. Click here for the current ferry schedules.
